How We Started Art Bites
We’re Adam and Christina—a husband and wife team with a shared love for quirky ideas, local art, and unexpected experiences.
So together we started brainstorming. A vending machine for art? Cool. A mystery vending machine for art? Cooler.
“But what’s the shtick?” Adam asked.
That’s when it clicked—what if it looked just like an ordinary snack machine? Chip bags and all… until you looked closer and realized it wasn’t chips at all. It was original, bite-sized artwork. Tiny paintings. Handmade jewelry. Sculptures. Trinkets with a soul.
Because we believe art should be approachable, fun, and maybe even a little silly. And if it fits in a chip bag? Even better.
Want your art in a vending machine?
Art Bites is looking for local artists to help us fill our machines. Here is our criteria…
- Must be a local artist relative to the vending machines placement
- Must be able to make bite-sized art no more than 4x4x2 inches
